Lou Zecca

Lou Zecca, MBA – Chief Operating Officer, Conti Federal Services, Orlando, Florida

 

Accomplished real estate and construction management leader with over 35 years of experience in military and private sectors, managing significant capital construction deployments ($100-$125M) for both government and private development projects.  Lou has an exceptional breadth of experience in major projects of scale for US Embassies, military-related construction, federal infrastructure, and justice projects. In addition, his depth extends into private sector assets for Education, Athletic, Religious, Historic Restoration, Healthcare, Senior Living, and Multi-Family developments.Lou is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Conti Federal Services. He has a stellar track record in creating value as a senior leader, project executive, or c-suite leader for numerous construction companies – including JJ Deluca, Nason Construction, Weston Solutions, David Boland, Verdex Construction, and Pernix Federal.  In addition, Lou is a Lieutenant Colonel Engineering Officer and an active and reserve service US Marine from 1987 to 2014.  Lou was deployed in 2009-2010 as an active Marine and worked in the Defense Logistics Agency and Office of Defense Representatives.  His critical engineering skills and expertise were instrumental in devising strategic movements into Afghanistan and supply chain and logistics of materials in Pakistan bound for Afghanistan – for which he was awarded the Defense Meritorious Service Medal. In addition to his expertise, Lou is known as a great leader, mentor, and manager and well liked by all levels of the companies and colleagues with whom he has worked.  Lou holds an MBA from Temple University Fox Business School and an undergraduate degree from Villanova University.  He currently resides in Vero Beach, Florida.
