Mr. Hu is a skilled project and facilities management executive with deep experiences across APAC, and China specifically.  With over 36 years of experience, Si is currently a Director for Way 9 Consultant, a consultancy and tenant representative to international companies with education and healthcare facilities in China.  Project types span innovation centers in Shenzhen with a particular focus on design alignment and quality control.

Prior to Way 9, Mr. Hu worked in various capacities consulting with clients in China, and served as Project and Facility Manager for the American International School of Guangzhou, China.  Si also worked in Thailand as a Project Manager and Senior Transportation Planner.  His extensive experience in transportation is evidenced in his involvement with multi-million dollars international projects around Southeast Asia and China, including the Suvarnabhumi Airport City development master plan, the Suvarnabhumi Airport runway ground improvement project, Bangkok MRT Blue line design project in Thailand, Phnom Penh Airport and Sihanouk Airport runway design and construction in Cambodia, District 9 Land Development Master Plan, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Tianjin 5 Blvd Historical Heritage Preservation and Revitalization in China.

In his early career, Si worked with various design, engineering, and construction firms, where he developed a diverse range of assets – working with companies like Moh & Associates, Saigon South Telephone Center, Phu My Hung Corporation, Vy Construction, MAA Consultants, in Taiwan, Vietnam and Thailand.

Si holds a Master of Environmental Planning from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science from Feng Chia University in Taiwan.  From 1986-1990, Si served in the military in Taiwan, including the Continental Engineering Corp and military service, where he focused on engineering and logistics. He is active in numerous professional organizations in Taiwan and is a member of the Arizona Planning Association, ADB & World Bank consultant, PMI member and APA member and speaks four languages.
