Arturo is an innovative and adaptable business and community leader in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry with over 35 years of experience in the Bay Area and Latin America with extensive expertise within the K-12 and Higher Education sector in California. A trusted partner to public and private organizations and local government leaders, skilled at structuring high performance teams, domestic and internationally, with extensive experience in Mexico. Known for driving growth, scaling organizations, and leveraging an extensive network to foster success.
He has held leadership positions with some of the largest builders in the US and Mexico and has been engaged in developing some of the most iconic buildings in Mexico City and Monterrey, Mexico. He has led the growth and success of both start up and established consulting firms in the Architecture / Engineering and Construction services sectors in the San Francisco Bay Area. And has led public organizations within the K-12 sector as Executive Director of Facilities & Real Estate. Most recently, he founded Taboada Advisory Group LLC., a small boutique consulting firm focused on the A/E/C sphere.
Arturo is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley where he earned a B.A. in Architecture and an M.B.A. from the Haas School of Business. He has been involved with local, regional, and Statewide boards and commissions, and is fluent in English and Spanish.
