Anthony Abana, Managing Director & Co-founder, Blocx Matrix Limited

           

Anthony Abana is a seasoned project delivery executive with extensive global success delivering capital projects, change programmes and complex works across sectors and markets in Africa, Europe and Asia. He is the Managing Director and Co-Founder of Blocx Matrix, Ltd.  Prior to co-founding his own company, Anthony served as a Senior executive with WeWork, overseeing significant expansion and construction of WeWork locations in the EMEA and India. He is a results oriented leader who has contributed to efficiencies in cost management, lifecycle analysis, strategy, portfolio and supply chain in projects with which he is involved. Anthony also held previous project management positions with Telereal Trillium and Land Securities PLC.

With a blended background in project management, construction, real estate development and architecture, Anthony’s depth one experiences stems from managing capes budgets of nearly $500MM.  Exceptionally innovative and skillful in programme delivery, construction, asset management,  cost management. Anthony is a Board and C-suite advisor, who recognized for the ability to inform and translate corporate vision into division-level strategy and deliver exceptional business results. He is a turnaround leader with a track record for rallying matrixed and multidisciplinary teams to drive change with best value outcomes.

Anthony is a Royal Chartered Surveyor from RICS and also a member of the Association for Project Management.
